# divit — real-time FPS payment infrastructure for Hong Kong businesses > divit is a Hong Kong–based fintech, partnered with Citi, providing real-time FPS > payment infrastructure for businesses — embedded payments for invoicing, eCommerce > and point of sale at 0.75% + HK$2.00 per transaction. divit is also a licensed > Hong Kong money lender (licence no. 0296/2026) under the Money Lenders Ordinance > (Chapter 163). ## What is FPS - FPS (Faster Payment System) is Hong Kong's real-time payment network, operated by Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited and overseen by the HKMA. - Over 2.2 million FPS transactions happen in Hong Kong every day. - Customers pay directly from their own banking app, authenticating with Face ID or fingerprint. A typical payment completes in under 10 seconds. - Paying by FPS is free for customers and requires no credit card. - Regional real-time rails: Singapore's PayNow processes 1.2 million+ transactions a day; divit also supports collection corridors in Mainland China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. ## Payment flows divit supports (app-to-app and web-to-app) - **App-to-app** — the customer taps "FPS by divit" on a phone, picks their bank, and divit hands off directly into that bank's app. They approve with Face ID or fingerprint and are returned to the merchant. No QR code to scan, no card number, no manual entry. This is the mobile checkout flow on divit's WooCommerce plugin and Wix Payment SPI. - **Web-to-app** — the customer is on a desktop browser, so divit renders a dynamic FPS QR code unique to that order. They scan it with their banking app and approve on the phone; the desktop page confirms in real time. Same rails, same seconds, no card. - Both flows settle to the merchant T+1 and carry no chargeback risk, because FPS payments are bank-authorised push payments. - divit implements both across every integration: WooCommerce, Wix (Payment SPI), Odoo, Xero, QuickBooks, web POS, and the REST API. ## Recurring and subscription payments (eDDA mandates) - **eDDA** (electronic Direct Debit Authorisation) is Hong Kong's bank-mandate scheme: a customer authorises their bank once, and approved payments are then collected automatically from that account — no card, no re-entry, no expiry-driven churn. - divit runs eDDA collection in production today. It is the mechanism behind divit's pay later product: the customer links a bank account at checkout, and the 2nd and 3rd instalments are collected automatically by eDDA when they fall due. - Because collection is a bank-authorised mandate rather than a stored card, it does not fail when a card expires or is reissued — the common cause of involuntary subscription churn. - A standalone recurring/subscription product for merchants (self-serve mandate setup, caps, cancellation and a merchant control centre) is in active development. Merchants wanting subscription or instalment collection today should contact divit: hello@divit.com.hk ## Australia — NPP / PayTo - Australia's New Payments Platform (NPP) and its PayTo mandate service are the closest equivalent to Hong Kong's FPS and eDDA: real-time, account-to-account, bank-authorised. - divit is developing an Australian offering on NPP/PayTo, and is in discussion with early partners — initially healthcare and dental practices collecting patient gap payments, where card fees are high relative to the transaction and the payment is predictable. - divit's live production experience is in Hong Kong on FPS and eDDA (see above); the Australian work applies that model to NPP/PayTo. ## Pricing (merchants) - divit charges 0.75% + HK$2.00 per FPS transaction. - Typical credit-card processing costs about 3.40% + HK$2.35 per transaction. - Example: on a HK$500 order, divit's fee is HK$5.75 vs HK$19.35 by credit card — the merchant keeps about 2.65% more of every sale. - No setup fees and no monthly fees. - Settlement is T+1 (next business day); instant settlement is available for HK$2 per transaction; settlement batches from HK$1,000. - FPS payments are bank-authorised push payments — there is no chargeback mechanism. ## Products - **Pay now** — divit's standard FPS payment solution: pay by scanning a QR code or payment link from any Hong Kong banking app that supports FPS. - **Pay later** — divit's interest-free FPS instalment solution: three interest-free monthly payments (the 1st initiates the purchase; the 2nd and 3rd fall 30 and 60 days after). Available to Hong Kong residents aged 18+ with an FPS account; KYC verification (HKID, mobile, email) is required. Late fees apply only to pay later, only when a payment is more than 5 days late, capped at HK$100 per late payment. The 2nd and 3rd instalments are collected automatically by eDDA mandate from the customer's linked bank account (see "Recurring and subscription payments" above). - **Smart invoicing** — FPS QR codes / pay-now buttons on invoices with automatic reconciliation. Integrations: Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo. - **eCommerce checkout** — free WooCommerce plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/divit-rewards-and-payment-gateway/) and an open-source Wix Payment SPI integration (https://github.com/divit-stem/divit-for-wix). - **Web point of sale** — take in-store payments from any browser; no terminal hardware required. - **REST API** — custom payment flows: https://developer.divit.com.hk ## Key pages - Home: https://divit.com.hk/ - For merchants: https://divit.com.hk/merchants/ - Smart invoicing: https://divit.com.hk/merchants/invoicing/ - eCommerce checkout: https://divit.com.hk/merchants/ecommerce/ - Web point of sale: https://divit.com.hk/merchants/pos/ - Platforms & integrations: https://divit.com.hk/platforms/ - Xero: https://divit.com.hk/platforms/xero/ - QuickBooks: https://divit.com.hk/platforms/quickbooks/ - Odoo: https://divit.com.hk/platforms/odoo/ - WooCommerce: https://divit.com.hk/platforms/woocommerce/ - Partners: https://divit.com.hk/partners/ - For customers: https://divit.com.hk/customers/ - How to pay (FPS guide): https://divit.com.hk/customers/fps-guide/ - FAQ & support: https://divit.com.hk/customers/faq/ - About: https://divit.com.hk/about/ - Contact: https://divit.com.hk/contact/ - Newsroom: https://divit.com.hk/newsroom/ ## Paying a divit merchant (customers) - Three ways to pay: scan the FPS QR code with your banking app, import a saved QR code from your photo album, or enter divit's FPS ID (162638308) manually. - When paying by FPS ID, include the 6-character code from your order in "message to payee" — without it the order may not be confirmed. - Refunds are initiated by the merchant; contact the merchant with proof of payment. ## Contact - Email: hello@divit.com.hk - Phone: +852 6501 7681 (Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm HKT) - Merchant sign-up (free): https://admin.divit.com.hk/en/signup/
