pay later is our interest free FPS payment solution where you can earn and spend miles.

buy now and pay for purchases over three interest-free monthly payments.

your 1st payment initiates the transaction and your 2nd and 3rd payments are set at 30 and 60 days from the date of purchase.

if you’re using pay later, as a regulated Hong Kong Money Lender, we are required to conduct KYC.

for selected merchants, a service fee may be charged to keep prices low.

your 2nd and 3rd pay later payments may be subject to late fees if they are more than 5 days late. our late fees are capped at HK$100 per late payment.

no. we don’t believe in keeping secrets and we don’t believe in annual fees or account keeping fees.

for all purchases, please contact your merchant to initiate refunds. when we receive the merchant instruction, we will refund directly back to your FPS account.

we’ve worked hard to develop a Hardship Policy that lets us work together if you have trouble making repayments.

based on your unique circumstances, we have options we can consider to get you back on track and back in control of your money. we have options we can discuss together.

we help businesses achieve two things: (i) save up to 3% on credit card fees by accepting secure low-cost real-time bank transfers instead; and (ii) attract millions of affluent frequent flyers with the ability to earn and spend miles.

divit miles

a divit mile is our common loyalty currency. members earn divit miles whenever they pay with FPS by divit. some of our loyalty partners also enable their loyalty currencies to be converted into divit miles (e.g. Asia Miles).

 

divit miles can be: (i) spent at any divit merchant, including the divit shop; (ii) donated to our charity partners; or (iii) converted into our loyalty partner currencies (e.g. Asia Miles).

when your customers sign-up for divit, they will earn 500 bonus miles from us after their first transaction. for pay later transactions, all three payments must be completed before bonus miles are awarded.

FPS payments

the Faster Payment System (FPS) is a payment financial infrastructure introduced in 2018 by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and operated by Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited (HKICL) to enable instant bank transfers in Hong Kong, providing consumers and merchants a safe, efficient and widely accessible retail payment service on a 24/7 basis.

 

there are close to 10m unique FPS accounts in Hong Kong and nearly 1m FPS transactions made per day.

divit securely encodes the payment destination, amount and unique reference inside our unique FPS QR codes – giving you a simple, flexible and rewarding payment option.

getting started

Hong Kong Residents who are aged 18 or over with a mobile phone number, email address and registered FPS bank account. divit users need to submit their HKID for KYC.

as a regulated Hong Kong Money Lender we are required to conduct KYC.

joining divit as a merchant

for access to our online business portal, you can register your company in under 2 minutes.

for a custom integration with your eCommerce or invoicing platform, please contact our merchant support team at [email protected].

you will need to provide us with:

(i) contact person;

(ii) contact number;

(iii) contact email;

(iv) business registration number;

(v) business registration in jpeg/pdf format; and

(vi) bank account number

we charge a flat FPS transaction fee of HK$2 + 0.5% for every transaction.

 

we provide merchants with a flexible rewards tool to reward their customers with divit miles and charge a low flat rate of HK$0.13 per divit mile.

there are no hidden fees. we do not charge merchants any setup, integration, annual, maintenance or marketing fees for the divit online business portal. you only pay for the transactions we process for you.

divit settles merchant accounts the next business day via FPS payment to nominated bank accounts.

 

total daily settlement = daily transaction value – divit’s transaction fee – the cost of divit miles rewarded

customer refunds

customer refunds are only processed on merchant instruction. divit will process customer refunds the next business day after the merchant has refunded divit.

(ii) generate unique FPS QR code payment for transactions; 

(iii) download or send FPS QR code to your customer;

(iv) track and review transaction history; 

(v) download sales reports; 

(vi) download customer database; and

(vii) add new staff accounts for access to the divit online business portal.
